Privacy Policy & Data Covenants

We believe that genuine intellectual and philosophical exploration requires complete freedom from surveillance. vistarman.org collects zero behavioral tracking profiles, runs zero analytics tracking scripts, and never monitors what concepts you read, search, or study.

Accessing public canonical knowledge on vistarman.org is 100% anonymous. We do not require accounts, phone numbers, email addresses, or demographic surveys to explore our foundational notes, diagnostic tools, and community topics.

To protect our servers from malicious traffic, DDoS attacks, and unauthorized intrusion, edge routing nodes temporarily record connection timestamps, HTTP request paths, and originating IP addresses. These operational logs are held in encrypted volatile storage and are automatically rotated and purged every 7 days.

We do not use tracking cookies. We utilize strictly necessary browser LocalStorage keys stored entirely on your own device:

• 'theme': Remembers your light, dark, or system appearance preference.
• 'vistar-view-mode': Remembers your preferred reading font size and density.
• 'sov_custom_posts': Locally caches your private draft reflections and bookmarks on your device.
• 'vistar_auth_user': Retains your authenticated handle session token locally if you sign in.

When you choose to make a voluntary non-profit donation, your name, email, phone number, and tax identification (such as PAN in India) are collected solely to comply with statutory non-profit tax regulations, issue legal 80G tax exemption certificates, and prevent financial fraud. This information is never sold or shared with commercial entities.

Our web applications contain zero third-party tracking pixels, zero social media monitoring widgets, zero commercial SDKs, and zero telemetry payloads. Your reading habits are never transmitted to corporate advertising networks or data brokers.

You maintain complete ownership of your personal data. At any time, you can clear your browser storage to wipe all local settings, or contact our Secretariat at support@vistarman.org to request complete deletion of any submitted donor or contact records.
