Legal covenants safeguarding public donations, tax-exempt receipting, and 30-day refund protocols.
How voluntary public donations are ring-fenced to preserve foundation independence, comply with statutory tax rules, and handle accidental contribution refunds.
vistarman.org exists as an open public commons funded entirely through voluntary community contributions and philanthropic endowments. Contributions ensure that public knowledge remains permanently free of paywalls, subscription tiers, and corporate advertising.
Financial contributions do not grant voting control, governance influence, preferential editorial placement, or council seats. Editorial decisions are governed strictly by the Knowledge Governance and Lifecycle System (KLS).
Every single rupee or dollar received through donations is legally ring-fenced within the VISTARMAN FOUNDATION non-profit bank accounts. Funds cannot be transferred, loaned, or commingled with commercial partner accounts under any circumstances.
The VISTARMAN FOUNDATION is a registered non-profit charitable trust. Donors in eligible jurisdictions receive official tax exemption certificates (such as Section 80G in India) automatically issued via email immediately upon transaction confirmation.
If a donation was made accidentally, entered with an incorrect amount, or executed without donor authorization, donors may request a 100% full refund within 30 days of the transaction date. Approved requests are processed within 5 to 7 business days back to the original funding source with zero administrative penalty.
An independent firm of chartered accountants audits our financial statements annually. Complete balance sheets, operational expenditure breakdowns, and statutory audit reports are published openly on our public portal every year.
Voluntary contributions ensure that vistarman.org remains 100% free of paywalls, trackers, and corporate advertisements.
